Project details

What we need
  • Analysis of the Organization’s current needs, long-term goals, programs, competitive standing and resources
  • Recommendations for an appropriate course of action to reach the desired objectives, including allocation of resources and how to measure success
  • Plan outlining the resources and steps required to reach short- and long-term goals
What we have in place
  • We currently have future goals and outline of board member needs, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an exit plan for our Board to support their new ED search,, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,550 , allowing us to provide emergency shelter for 150 Veterans.

Our organization has come quite far in the last 20 years, yet there are many needs still to be met. It is important to create this plan so that we establish realistic goals that we know will come to fruition and assist the population we wish to serve.

We are seeking to enhance our Board of Directors as our Executive Director looks towards retirement. We want to ensure a Strategic Plan is already prepared and in place to support both of those goals.

Our mission

Since 1993, our goal has been to provide safe housing, nutritious meals, and access to an full array of services to help primarily homeless Veterans, their families, and non-Veterans so they can begin their rehabilitation process.

What we do

Veterans come out of a world entirely different than that of civilians. They are given incredible training, abilities, and responsibilities without the university degree and certification which will allow them to translate and transition outside of that bubble. It is no wonder that they may come to a place of struggle once re-entered into our civilian world.

We are a full-fledged non-profit 501(c)(3) Veteran run, service-enriched provider serving the homeless Veterans and displaced populations of Alameda County. Our goal is to provide safe housing, nutritious meals, and access to a full array of services so those we support can begin their rehabilitation process.
