What we need
- A custom wordpress theme--design only, files to be handed off to a wordpress developer
- Mock-ups of a couple design variations for review and selection by our management team
- Reformatting of existing photo assets for use on website/in design (eg. resizing, color correcting, adding text, etc.)
- Updating of current website assets (banners, buttons, ad units, etc) to match new custom theme
In a nutshell: we are looking for someone to update/modernize the existing design of the www.OpUSA.org theme and page layous, and help us create some new pages. We'd ideally like to work with a designer who is familiar with design for wordpress, so files can be seamlessly handed over to a developer for coding once the design phase is complete.
What we have in place
- Our current website is live at www.OpUSA.org. We have a style guide and existing design, logo and photo assets in place, and we can provide direction on branding and design updates. We are looking for someone to help us refresh and modernize the existing design to reduce scroll, create better user flow and improve visual appeal of existing design.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,000 , allowing us to purchase food and staff programs to feed 600 children at our school in Haiti.
Improving the overall site design will help us capture the interest of new site vistors, and will inspire those visitors to make a donation or get involved with our work. Donations made through our website make our work around the world possible! Improved website design will also assist us with press relations and public relations as we strive to educate the masses on our vital programming and worldwide aid.
