What we need
  • Identification of keywords and statements that will differentiate and position United Planet effectively
  • Document that articulates in a consistent voice key messages about our organization’s identity, constituents, and mission and vision.
  • Creation of taglines and talking points to help us communicate clearly and concisely
  • Recommendations on tailoring our messaging for common communication channels (e.g., website copy, printed marketing collateral, pitching verbally)
What we have in place
  • We already have put in some work to define potential directions for positioning and differentiation, but are open to your expert opinion. We have done competitor research on their brand messaging and voice, gathered in-depth demographic information on our 2013 volunteers, and have a document highlighting themes from all of our 2013 post-volunteer project surveys. We gathered as many information points as possible for you to get a full sense of the field as well as our target market.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,600 , allowing us to invest in our empathy-building volunteer programs in 35 countries around the world.

We have a mission we believe in and one of the best volunteer abroad experiences out there. We genuinely care about the community and also about making sure volunteers have an authentic and life-changing experience. We value each individual.

United Planet is a non-profit organization with a mission – to create a global community, one relationship at a time. We connect volunteers who want to make a difference with communities in 35 countries, where they learn, teach, work, engage and immerse themselves in a culture outside their comfort zone.
