Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity

Project details

What we need
  • Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
  • Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
  • High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)
Additional details

Two design options to present to our board, leading to one selection for roll-out. Prefer someone local who can visit Teatown to better understand who we are before starting design.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a new mission statement and strategic plan, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an interpretive plan, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to connect 100 children with nature.

With a new mission of inspiring our community to lifelong environmental stewardship, it's time to define who we are today through our visual branding. Our existing logo does not tell our current story. After 50 years in existence we have done the challenging work to create a new strategic focus and interpretive plan. We now need to define ourselves within our community through a new visual identity that is relevant to our new mission!

Our mission

Teatown Lake Reservation’s mission is to inspire our community to lifelong environmental stewardship.

What we do

Teatown realizes its mission through environmental education and stewardship of its 1,000 acre preserve. We are dedicated to conserving biodiversity, teaching ecology and promoting sustainable living.

Presently our programs reach 20,000 adults and children annually and an additional 10,000 visitors enjoy our hiking trails each year. At the center of all our endeavors is teamwork and partnership, because nature conservation and environmental health are possible only when people and their communities work together for the common good.

The Teatown team is made of a committed group of members, donors, volunteers, board, staff and program participants. Our successes are only possible because of their hard work and dedication to our mission. In addition, we seek collaborations with other organizations and businesses that share or complement our vision.
