Our mission

The Benefits Plus Learning Center of the Community Service Society seeks to stabilize the lives of low-income New Yorkers by ensuring their access to public benefit and housing programs, to help families move out of poverty while simultaneously strengthening the City’s economy.

What we do

The Benefits Plus Learning Center educates and empowers social service professionals with the skills, knowledge and expertise so they can assist their clients to gain access to public benefit programs. We do this through our publications, trainings and consultations services.
