Project details

What we need
  • Clear roadmap to guide organization's campaign launch, execution, and wrap-up
  • Well-defined goals, strategies, and tips to run the campaign; concrete metrics to measure success
  • Expert consultation and support throughout campaign implementation; including messaging, scheduling, outreach and commenting.
  • Training throughout the campaign to equip organization's staff to run the next campaign on their own
What we have in place
  • We currently have 30,000 FB; 23,200 IG; and 8,116 Twitter followers, and consistent postings, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,500 , allowing us to provision the crew members for 20 days at sea.

The success of the upcoming membership campaign depends on capturing a broad audience that includes our social media groups.
Without your help, we cannot ensure that we will maximize our potential. Your skills will empower us to implement a strategy that will engage our supporters to take a step forward to support our organization and this voyage!

Our mission

Founded on a legacy of Pacific Ocean exploration, the Polynesian Voyaging Society seeks to perpetuate the art and science of traditional Polynesian voyaging and the spirit of exploration through experiential educational programs that inspire students and their communities to respect and care for themselves, one another, and their natural and cultural environments.

What we do

Today, Hokule'a, a traditional Polynesian voyaging canoe, and her sister canoe, Hikianalia, embark on a multi-year journey across Earth’s oceans. Using traditional knowledge and techniques, and environmental queues as they navigate, this is the first time any Polynesian voyaging canoe has left the Pacific Ocean. With a focus on experiential education, we seek to inspire sustainable living.

The 'Malama Honua Worldwide Voyage' (meaning in Hawaiian, 'caring for earth') is taking us to 100 ports and 27 nations to share and discover 'malama honua' stories of hope from people and cultures who are navigating their communities to a better tomorrow.
