What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
What we have in place
  • We have some materials that we have been using, quotes from our audience, an extensive "target" list of influencers and media that we want to reach, Twitter, Pinterest and Insta pages and 4,900 Facebook fans, a website and blog and Youtube videos.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to spread empowering messages to 10000 young women around the world.

We have been waiting to formally launch the 7 Sisters Project- to our target audience, supporters, influencers, media, etc- until we are ready to tell our story in a powerful, succinct and compelling way. We believe this is a huge idea, one with the potential to impact billions of girls. Our genesis, vision and execution are unusual to say the least! We need your help crafting our story, so instead of being long winded and cumbersome, it's exciting and catchy. Your story will be the foundation for all of our communication materials.

  • Professional presents and discusses primary story angle(s) to the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager facilitates interviews between Professional and individuals willing to share their story (if applicable)

7Sisters is a social empowerment movement that wants to connect, empower and mobilize young women from all 7 continents through 7Sisters LIVE events on college campuses. Bridging divides of race, class, culture and religion, we energize positive cross cultural, multi generational conversations between young women by putting them center stage and giving them the mic, inviting them to share their stories of resilience, impact and inspiration.
