Project details

What we need
  • A one-day intensive Salesforce training for up to five staff members
  • A document summarizing topics covered during training
What we have in place
  • Our President will be dedicated to seeing this project through. He is passionate about understanding how we can best use Salesforce to move our organization forward. We have a fully customized Salesforce database to work with and lists of our contacts, to help move the project forward.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,888 , allowing us to educate and empower 10 musicians living in communities fractured by economic and social injustice.

Last year we dedicated time to a Salesforce Database Customization project with a wonderful Catchafire volunteer. Now that we have the backend in place, we are ready to move forward and further understand how best to use what we have to track contacts, donors, leads, partners, and do things we probably haven't even yet conceptualized. We believe this will take our programming and fundraising to the next level, give us crucial insight into donors and beneficiaries, and, ultimately allow us to continue to do the work about which we are so passionate.

Our mission

Tech For JusticeĀ® is an initiative to accelerate the development of technology applications and processes that improve access to justice in human rights, legal aid, and the environment.
We aim to support those who need critical help more efficiently, and change processes that no longer serve the people. Technology provides communities with the ability to gather around targeted problems.

What we do

Open technology collaboration also creates a community of peer review and ownership that allows the people to be a part of the solution and create justice based on community needs.

By hosting a series of Hackathons, think tanks, and building sessions focused on solving justice issues through technology know-how and socially-focused action, Tech For Justice seeks to incentivize some of our best minds to help solve pressing issues related to various world justice systems, namely that all are able to access their resources, and if not, to create their own.

These new applications and designs are then supported by a community of developers, entrepreneurs, legal professionals, nonprofits, and public and private entities with the opportunity to bring great ideas to reality.
