What we need
  • Review of job descriptions, pay structure, internal value, competitive market data, non-monetary rewards and benefits
  • Recommendations for updating staff compensation and incentive plans
What we have in place
  • We currently have job descriptions, an HR manual, and preliminary analysis, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a staff member committed to this project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,746 , allowing us to build 1 greenhouse at a HS that will be used by 1,500 students & grow starts/food for community members.

The success of our organization depends on our ability to recruit and retain high quality staff. Without your help, we cannot attract quality professionals for this important work. Your skills will empower us to build a successful and impactful team.

Our mission

Global Student Embassy is an international youth leadership program that connects students from the US and Latin America to work together towards positive community and environmental change. Global Student Embassy's mission is to empower young leaders to become environmental stewards, social innovators, and community leaders. In collaboration with international peers, students generate and implement powerful community-based solutions to shared ecological concerns.

What we do

In Northern California, Nicaragua and Ecuador, GSE runs Eco-Action programs that provide hands-on learning opportunities during in-school and after-school programs.

GSE believes that through academic enrichment, ecological project development, and cross-cultural collaboration, students will:
• Build local networks that steward the transition to community and food system sustainability
• Increase the volume of local, organic food grown and made accessible to communities in need
• Accelerate local ecological restoration
• Understand local environmental threats—and responsibilities—are consistent worldwide
• Experience international grassroots network-building of advocates for environmental change
• Build leadership, relationship, technical, and global citizenship skills relevant to high school, university, and career settings
