Judith is President/CEO of Providence Place. Prior to becoming President/CEO, she was the agency's Chief Operating Officer for four years.
Judith has 28 years of social service experience and a passion for serving others; she has served in several capacities throughout her career. Before moving to San Antonio in 2011, she was the Regional Vice-President for Volunteers of America in North Louisiana for 11 years. During her tenure she successfully implemented diverse programs including Early Head Start, Permanent Supportive and Transitional Housing. She served on the Church Governance Board for Volunteers of America. Judith was the Director of the Mary Goss Center for Battered Women and Children for 10 years.
Additionally, she chaired the United Way of Northeast Louisiana Council of Executives and has served on the United Way Board of Directors.
Judith has a Bachelor's and Master's from the University of Arkansas and a Doctorate degree from Iowa State University. Judith has recently completed the Andeaver (formerly Tesoro) Leadership Fellows Program. She is a Johnson and Johnson Fellow. She attends University United Methodist Church, is a member of the Non-Profit Council and currently serves of the Volunteers of America Texas Board of Directors.
