Biography

Gregory J. Gwaltney, CPA, CFSA

Greg Gwaltney is a Senior Corporate Audit Manager in Dow', Inc. Greg joined Dow in October 2007. He is responsible to plan, lead, and report on internal audits globally. In addition, he provides risk assessment, standard audit approach, control evaluation, auditee consultation, and auditor training. He leads the department's Inclusion and Diversity Annual Plan. Greg has three-times organized and led the Audit Department's annual training conference, a 5-day internally prepared global training event. Greg also leads the Midland Finance Safety Action Committee, which organizes and directs safety training and programming in the Midland Area Facilities.

Greg has been a board trustee of Perceptions, the Great Lakes Bay Region's LGBT and Ally non-profit organization, for seven years. He served as Treasurer for 6 years through the organization's initial growth. He has participated in fundraising, grant writing, program and event development, and co-funded the organization's Harmony Diversity Choir and acts as its accompanist.

Greg has been involved in Dow's GLAD LGBT ERG for many years and currently leads GLAD's Global External Advocacy Team and sits on the Midland Area GLAD Steering Team. He acts as the liaison between Dow, GLAD, and Perceptions to promote Corporate-Community partnerships. Greg sits on the Midland Area Community Foundation's Cultural Awareness Committee and the St. John's Episcopal Vestry board.

Greg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Services Auditor.
