Biography

Elizabeth's experience bridges the private and nonprofit sectors, with a deep interest in understanding complex systems and organizations. When she graduated college, she participated in an Independent Student Coalition for the International Criminal Court (ICC) at United Nations Headquarters. She gained her project management skills early in her career in the legal field supporting highly-technical litigation cases, managing attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants. Elizabeth applied that expertise to the Helen Bamber Foundation, a London-based NGO whose mission is to support survivors of human rights violations, where she led a range of initiatives, including fundraising, community outreach, participation at intergovernmental conferences at the U.N. and the O.S.C.E., and developing arts programming for survivors of torture. After returning to the United States, she worked as a program officer for the Medina Foundation, a private family foundation in Seattle, where she evaluated grant proposals, conducted site visits and made funding recommendations. While pursuing her graduate studies, she launched her consulting practice that grew to work with international NGOs, national and regional organizations, and grassroots initiatives. She is thrilled to bring her extensive experience in the philanthropic sector, organizational development, and nonprofit communications to the Eye to Eye team.

Elizabeth has a Master's degree in Public Administration from Seattle University and Bachelor's degrees in History and Political Science, with a concentration in Women's Studies from Gonzaga University. She is a passionate advocate for feminist activism and combating systems of oppression.
