Mary Weitzman is a fundraising and marketing professional with over two decades of experience working with some extraordinary cultural, environmental and educational organizations. Mary is as passionate about the arts as she is the outdoors, and is grateful to have spent her career advocating these causes. Most recently she worked for Wave Hill in the Bronx, a public garden that is a model for garden conservancy across the country. Mary has represented the arts and the environment on many private/public committees, including NYC's Department of Cultural Affairs, the Bronx Borough President's Office, and NYC & Company. After the tragic events of September 11th, she was appointed to the executive committee rebuilding Lower Manhattan, spearheading a $4.6M marketing campaign for the arts. She holds a BFA in Painting from Boston University and an MA in Arts Administration from Columbia University. A recent transplant to Maine, Mary lives in Thomaston with her husband Michael and their daughter. She loves to garden and explore the trails, galleries, and restaurants of Midcoast.
