Director of Development
Winter Harbor, ME, USA

Resourceful relationship builder, development and fundraising veteran with twenty successful years of nonprofit Board experience and management. Both a dedicated team player and disciplined self starter, I appreciate the power of human intention and goals. I see the necessity of organization, timeliness and managing expectations. And I honor the value of diverse perspectives, of respecting others, of listening deeply, of being grateful.

Recent nonprofit highlights:
~ Creation of communications plan for nascent 501(c)(3) foundation focusing on climate change solutions, organizing vision/mission statements, positioning, and establishing their online presence with development of an original website and social media, The Vos Foundation.

~ Completion of Prospect Research for funding and development of Grant Proposal for Technology and Human Rights Project and Anti-Slavery initiatives. Recruitment of Donor Member to Advisory Board, Carr Center for Human Rights Policy, Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

~ Realization of successful $2.8million Capital Campaign to acquire historic "Edgewood Farm" debt free, more than doubling programming capacity and expanding an Artist Residency Program at Truro Center for the Arts, Castle Hill. Negotiated contracts with partnering nonprofit organization; initiated Feasibility Study, Strategic Plan and branding/website updates.
Co-Chaired Campaign Leadership Circle, personally securing donations of $10,000 to $300,000.

I often look at a challenge (the more daunting, the better) and think, THIS is where it gets interesting. I delight in meeting new people and facilitating their joy in supporting what is important to them.
