Biography

I'm an upbeat pragmatic leadership/management skills coach. Certifications include ICF PCC, Gallup's Strengths Finder, CCL's 360s, Crucial Learning's Crucial Conversations and Getting Things Done, and Wiley's DiSC assessments and Five Behaviors. Front-line experience includes 25 years of front-line leadership experience including bootstrapping a small theatre into a top-30 arts center, 10 years of teaching/training best practices as a top-rated masters-level prof (DePaul, Case Western), and authoring articles (Nonprofit Quarterly's Dr. Conflict) and books (Strategic Board and Results Now). Current engagements include helming Chicago's Howard Brown Health's Emerging Leaders Program and Felician University's NGO Best-Practices Program in Dublin Ireland.
