Dr. Mai Moua is currently the Chief Operating Officer of HAP (Hmong American Partnership). She has over 15 years of experience in leadership and organizational development, with a focus on inclusion and equity.
oversees agency-wide programs and services. Dr. Moua drives strategic directions of programs and operations. Her leadership has led to the successful restructuring of services to generate revenue for the agency including development of its social enterprises, childcare microenterprises, and other economic development programs.

Dr. Moua is a sought after consultant and works with a variety of nonprofits, government entities, and private businesses at the local, state, and national levels. She has presented research and conducted workshops on leadership and organizational effectiveness, inclusion and diversity, and strategic planning to internationally diverse audiences of scholars and academics, executives and directors, practitioners from multidisciplinary fields, and students from the Middle East, Europe, Asia, South America, and Canada. In 2011, she published a book "Culturally Intelligent Leadership: Leading Through Intercultral Interactions" by Business Expert Press.

She currently sits on the board of M Fairview Health Services. Clients have included: MN Department of Human Services, City of Brooklyn Center, Hennepin and Ramsey Counties, AmeriPrise Financial Services, Saint Paul and Minneapolis Public School Districts.
