Biography

Krista Gill is a fundraising professional who passionately supports system-level change leading to a more equitable Atlanta. She has four years of experience working directly with youth and adults with developmental disabilities and three years of fundraising experience. Krista currently serves as Future Foundation's Development Officer, connecting generous community members with the opportunity to prepare under-resourced youth for college and adulthood. With a proven track record of success, she increased annual grant revenue by 65% and overall donated revenue by 36% in previous positions. Krista is driven by her conviction that we can build a better world through relationships and stories that focus on what could be if we uplift the best in ourselves and one another.

Krista earned her Bachelor's degree in Human Services with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management from Kennesaw State University in 2015. She was selected as a 2017 Diversity Fellow through the Association of Fundraising Professionals and completed a Certificate of Nonprofit Accounting through the Georgia Center for Nonprofits in 2018. As an engaged community member, Krista serves on her Atlanta neighborhood's Executive Board and is leading a significant park revitalization project with the Friends of South Atlanta Park in partnership with the City of Atlanta and Park Pride. In her spare time, Krista enjoys spending time with her family and friends, supporting the Atlanta arts community, and getting as much fresh air and sunshine as possible.
