I started my career as a performer, working around the country in all kinds of theatre, before decided that I needed to be on the administrative end of the arts. My wife, Anna, began Arts for All as an NYU service group. In the last ten years, it has grown into a non-profit reaching 3,000 kids in the five boroughs. I have taught Arts for All students since the beginning, and now am the head of the Programming Committee, the "Playwright-in-Residence," and a member of the board.
We also run a new professional theatre company in Annapolis, MD, called Infinity Theatre Company.
I am a fan of any group offering arts to children who are in-need, like DARE Dance and 826NYC. I also support mental health awareness groups, like The Jed Foundation.
And I love tea.
