I'm so excited you want to learn more about me. I guess this little text box is my chance to make a good first impression. No pressure, right? I'll do my best.
I'm a writer and have been for as long as I can remember. From filling notebooks with stories as a kid to founding The Quill Society in middle school, I've always known this was what I wanted to be when I grew up.
After graduating from Clemson University with a major in English and a minor in creative writing, I threw myself into my first job: a copywriter/social media manager/content strategist at a marketing agency.
After 5 years of wearing lots of hats - and getting lots of experience and making friendships I'll cherish forever - I entered my current role and calling as a writer in the healthcare industry. I support three service lines: primary care, children's and women's. And on the side, I freelance every chance I get.
I love writing short but clever headlines and getting lost in long-form stories that pull on heartstrings. When I'm not writing, I'm hanging out with my family, running or working out, and taking gram-worthy photos (I think) of my dogs. Empathy is my guiding strength, and my favorite question to ask is "Why?" I'm a disorganized neat freak and an impatient perfectionist, and I put hot sauce and salt on everything (#healthy).
That's just a little bit about me. So if you need a copywriter, a friend, or just a new reality TV show to watch, I'm your girl.
