Since 2007, Amy Yarcich has served as the Executive Director of Rx Partnership, a nonprofit public/private partnership dedicated to increasing access to medications for vulnerable Virginians.
During her tenure with the organization, Rx Partnership has been recognized with two national awards, added new pharmaceutical partners (currently five companies), increased the number of clinics participating (currently 19 free clinics with pharmacies and six clinics without a pharmacy), received a positive, landmark Office of the Inspector General (OIG) opinion and helped coordinate the distribution of over $200 million in free medication to over 68,000 eligible patients. In April 2017, she oversaw the launch of the new Access to Medication Program (AMP) designed to complement RxP's current services by providing access to affordable generic medication to Virginia clinics without a licensed pharmacy.
Amy holds a Masters in Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, two Certificates in Nonprofit Management and received her undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. She previously worked for 10 years for the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development managing the Virginia Main Street Program and Virginia Enterprise Initiative. Her past employment includes serving as Executive Director of a community Main Street Program in Wisconsin. Amy was recently recognized with the 2018 EXCEL Award Honorable Mention for outstanding leadership among nonprofit Chief Executives by the Center for Nonprofit Advancement.
