As the Operations Fellow, Donna supports Resonate in achieving sustained success by designing and streamlining the organization’s operation structures including system databases, financial modeling, program strategy, and impact evaluation metrics.
Donna has committed her heart and energy to women’s rights, specifically the anti-human trafficking movement, for over a decade. Most recently, she headed the anti-human trafficking unit at The Standing Against Global Exploitation (SAGE) Project, a survivor-centered nonprofit organization in San Francisco. In her role, she oversaw service coordination and provision for survivors of human trafficking and managed a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary collaborative. Through trauma-informed, anti-trafficking workshops, she facilitated identification and response trainings for diverse groups such as consulates, health care providers, and social service practitioners. Donna has worked in the fight against human trafficking in Washington, D.C. and Israel. She has also worked in development with highland indigenous communities in Peru.
Donna is currently pursuing her Master’s of Public Administration (MPA) at the Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS), a graduate school of Middlebury College. She is a 2014 Frontier Market Scout (FMS) Fellow, a social enterprise management and impact investing training and fellowship program. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology from the University of Maryland.
