Prior to joining HealthMPowers, Lee Ann Else was the Regional Network Manager for the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. Founded by the William J. Clinton Foundation and the American Heart Association to reduce the prevalence of childhood obesity, the Alliance works in multiple settings to support policy, systems and environmental change. As the Regional Network Manager, Lee Ann created and delivered professional development strategies for school districts and out-of-school time providers working to change their environment to support the health of young people. In addition, Lee Ann was on the national development team securing corporate and foundation partners.
Prior to joining the Alliance, Lee Ann co-founded and directed Signal Design, an award winning design studio that works with broadcast media and entertainment clients. Prior to this, she was a regional sales representative for Champion International.
Lee Ann Else attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and holds a B.S. in Business/Marketing with a minor in Art History. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and two daughters, age 15 and 17. She enjoys cooking and loves hiking, biking and the performing arts with her family.
