Biography

Mark Leger is the development and communications director at Brandworkers. He has enjoyed an extensive career in both corporate and non-profit communications and fundraising. Mark is also a seasoned activist in the arenas of peace, food justice, and LGBT liberation.
Before joining the staff at Brandworkers, he managed communications for North Star Fund for five
years, where he led the overhaul of the foundation's visual identity and public communications. He is a
member of the board of the New York City Community Garden Coalition, and an active member of the
Phoenix Community Garden in the Ocean Hill/Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, where he lives.
He joined the staff of Brandworkers in December, 2012.
