Megan M.
Biography
Megan joined the Superior Health Foundation in 2024 as the executive director. She was raised in Ironwood, MI, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and international relations from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Public Administration from Western Michigan University. She brings nearly 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors in West and Southeast Michigan, focusing on on health, philanthropy, program development, and community engagement.
Prior to joining the Superior Health Foundation, Megan served as the director for community health and capacity building at the Michigan Health Endowment Fund, where she supported community-driven program implementation and nonprofit and collaborative capacity building. She is an advocate for community-based organizations and is passionate about ensuring nonprofits have the tools they need to advance their mission. She is a winter sports enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and their Great Dane, Bowie.
