Rebecca Newberry is Clean Air's Executive Director with 10+ years developing and managing successful issue campaigns, including environmental enforcement, climate and energy policy, and state budget legislation. Rebecca is a strong facilitator, trainer, and coalition builder with multiple examples of success building programs and teams from the ground up, managing and supporting people through coalition conflicts, and demonstrating a passion for strategy and collaboration. Rebecca's work with Clean Air has been featured by national and international publications such as Grist, Mother Jones, Bill Moyers, and Al Jazeera. Rebecca previously worked with the Rochester Genesee Valley Area Labor Federation,AFL-CIO, spearheading New Generation United, which was chosen by the AFL-CIO National Council as a model for young labor groups across the country. Rebecca holds a B.S from State University College at Brockport and a M.S. in Nonprofit Management
from Canisius College.
