POTS DAY-TO-DAY SERVICES
The Food Pantry – our fastest growing program - provides groceries for an average of 150 families per week.

The Community Dining Room – one of the few in NYC open 7 days a week – serves an average of 325 people daily.

Close to 800 people currently receive their mail at POTS and 20 people get free haircuts each week.

POTS provides Back-to-School supplies, Thanksgiving turkeys, Holiday gifts and parties for hundreds of families and children each year.

POTS NEXT-STEP SERVICES
Case Management services helped close to 1,000 people including 200 families with 250+ children identify barriers to stability and take steps to address them last year.

Application Assistance and Legal Representation for public benefits (Food Stamps, Social Security) resulted in $1,000,000 being secured for POTS’ community in 2009.

Legal Eviction Prevention Services enabled 90 families with 200+ children to remain in their homes last year.
