Biography

Barrett first came to Agahozo-Shalom in 2012 as a long-term volunteer and member of the Jewish Service Corps., involved in guest and visitation services in the Village. Upon returning from her year in Rwanda, Barrett joined Agahozo-Shalom's NYC team as Development and Communications Manager in January 2013. Prior to her time in Rwanda, Barrett worked in the nonprofit sector for more than 5 years and specializes in marketing and communications, as well as volunteer and alumni education and services. She received two Bachelors degrees in Marketing and Theatre and a Masters degree in Globalization and Educational Change from Lehigh University. Born and raised outside Cleveland, OH, Barrett now lives in Brooklyn.
