Madalitso Juwayeyi is an Advocate for youth and women. She has 4
years working experience with young people, women and
girls in areas of SRHR, education and social empowerment.
She is currently working as the Programs Manager for a youth
led organization; Forum for AIDS Counselling and Training
(FACT)- that offers Sexual Reproductive Health
Rights services using a peer to peer
model which she co-designed. Madalitso is a co-founder of
FACT Women Empowerment Network (FWEN).
Madalitso has successfully
managed a number of projects including those focused on
ending girl child marriages; while also promoting SRH voice
for women and girls. She has managed to delivered MOU's
with 10 community leaders to end negative attitude towards
SRHR in their communities, together with community leaders, they
abolished 109 marriages in a 1 year project and trained over
2000 young people on SRHR, she has trained over 3000
girls on how to make reusable sanitary pads and
championed the opening of youth friendly HIV testing center
at FACT offices. One of achievement she is very proud of is leading FACT into partnership with Segal Family Foundation. The partnership supports SRHR work with youth and women that Madalitso will be leading. Madalitso is passionate about SRHR and
uplifting the lives of youth and women.
