Biography
Marilyn Ababio is a skilled administrator with over 25 years' experience managing complex systems infrastructure projects. Ms. Ababio's specific expertise has been applied to Alameda County's Health Care Services Agency where she illustrated innovation and collaboration in the development of Care Partners, a community based palliative health program whose cost savings to IHSS, EMS transport and Emergency Room visits are still being calculated. In 2018 the Care Partners program received the National Association of Counties (NACo) Award for Achievement. June 2018 Marilyn left Alameda County to return to her beloved non-profit Comfort Homesake. She is a rare combination of visionary and architect. A graduate of UCLA, Yale University and Occidental College, Ms. Ababio is a presenter and participant with prestigious organizations such as the National Academies of Science, Transportation Research Board (TRB); Stanford University I Sage Program ; Conference of Minority Transportation Officials; Harvard University Civil Rights Project on issues of Environmental Justice.
