Digital Marketing Consultant and Designer, Freelance

I currently conduct freelance digital marketing and design projects for small businesses, including a small startup personal fitness instruction company based out of New York City. My projects and work are as follows:
-Creation of Facebook Advertisements, Instagram content, and social media copy, using Canva, to promote company and new programs
- Design of company logo using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Draw. Also assisted in trademarking the logo, per my interest and experience in Intellectual Property Law
- Developed, edited, and constructed waiver and liability forms, consent agreements, and questionnaires for client
- Designed company's 'Welcome Packets,' each to be utilized as a reference guide for various clients when first starting his/her personal program
-Currently designing company's website using Wix as the platform

Staff Writer and Co-Presenter, Fashion Quarterly Magazine

December, 2019 - June, 2019

Fashion Quarterly (FQ) is a student-run magazine publication at UC San Diego, aimed to provide creative voices a platform to write, illustrate, photograph, and design anything of importance to them or to the world. I created written pieces about fashion, art, and diversity, in which I explored the intersection of gender norms,
sexism, and racism as related to the history of women's workwear and the expectations of women's attire, especially women of color, in professional environments. I also assisted in editing a feature discussing the social stigma of tattoos and the struggle of professors at UC San Diego in overcoming this stigma in a professional setting. Additionally, I co-presented at Fashion Quarterly's Spring Issue Launch Party, introducing the DJ, our writers, editors, illustrators, designers, and photographers, who each worked to create the publication that reached over 5,000 undergraduate students.

Associate Service Consultant, LPL Financial

In addition to providing support, consultation, and situational resolutions to over 50 financial advisors and their clients on a daily basis during my time at LPL, I also engaged in professional communication and design work across various departments.
Most notably, I created newsletters related to LPL's COVID-19 response and Work from Home Tips as the Marketing Chair of the
Young Professionals Employee Resource Group and improved the organization's branding and company-wide presence. Additionally,
I re-designed the Service Department's website using to improve user experience, access to company resources, and
centralize team communication. Amongst both organizations within the company, I designed promotional content for company events, and managed internal social media campaigns across departments through Workplace by Facebook.

Operations and Social Media Marketing Intern, Music Box

October, 2018 - March, 2019

Music Box is an independent concert venue in San Diego, CA. The popular venue houses artists from every genre of music, from country to reggae to hip hop. During my time at Music Box, I expressed to the team that I aim to pursue a long-term career in Entertainment Law, specializing in Music Law. As a result, I was brought on to draft and edit over 30 contracts between agents, musicians, artists, and Music Box Executives. To promote the company within the Southern California region and beyond, I coordinated social media marketing efforts and batch-created posts and copy using Sprout Social, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to its over 50k combined social media followers. Additionally, I represented Music Box at events in San Diego, including Boomshaka, Artwalk, and Adams Ave. Street Fair. In engaging in these events, I was also able to collaborate with other local concert venue teams, such as Belly Up, Casbah, and Soda Bar, to promote artists, local festivals, and cross-venue events.

Global Recruiting Intern, Latham & Watkins LLP

Although the internship period was brief, my time with the globally renowned law firm, Latham & Watkins LLP, was filled with opportunities to demonstrate my skills and gain new experience, especially related to communications design within the corporate environment. I developed graphics, including statistical representations elements, for several newsletters and infographics distributed by the Global Recruiting Department company-wide, reaching over 20 offices. Additionally, I designed covers for the National Lawyers Association publications, recognized by prominent members of the NLA.

Alumni Relations & Outreach Intern, UC San Diego: International House

September, 2017 - June, 2018

The International House at UC San Diego was more than a center for housing international students studying at UCSD. It was an environment carefully cultivated to promote cross-cultural communication and interactions amongst all students, international or domestic, to create a more inclusive community driven by cultural learning. During my time at the International House, I worked each day to promote this idea of cultural connectivity and was brought onto the team to launch the Official Alumni Program for the International House at UC San Diego, aiming to connect
alumni from all over the globe who either stayed at International House during their time at UCSD or who were greatly impacted by the International House's mission.
I designed quarterly communications graphics, Facebook Event Flyers, and Newsletters and initiated strategic
implementation for International House Programs. Additionally, I established and maintained positive relations with UC San Diego's Alumni Department.

Communications Intern, Association of Prosecuting Attorneys

June, 2017 - September, 2017

During my time at the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys (APA), a non-profit organization based in Washington D.C. specializing in supporting prosecutors nationally to be able to better perform their duties and uphold, as well as reform, the criminal justice system, I had the pleasure of creating infographics, publications, newsletters, and social media copy for the organization. In designing these media elements, as well as re-designing the APA's website, I was able to assist in rebranding and promoting the organization to over 10,000 prosecutors and members nationwide. Additionally, I upheld
positive relationships with the CEO, Legal Department, and distinguished prosecutors in the D.C. area. This internship was conducted in coordination with the prestigious University of California, D.C. (UCDC) Program.

Production Intern, Triton Television

October, 2016 - December, 2017

Triton Television is a student-run film-studio at UC San Diego. I was a part of their Production Intern Program, in which I attended training events, and meetings to learn about filmmaking fundamentals, including camera usage, lighting,
screenwriting, and editing. After learning the fundamentals, I participated as a writer and producer for the 48 Film Festival, in which our team created a short film examining one
woman's struggle in balancing her Asian heritage while living in the West. At TTV, I was fortunate to have collaborated with fellow interns, alumni, and the UC San Diego Visual Arts Department and Communication Department to develop and show films across campus.

College Center Assistant, John Muir College: Muir Woods Coffee House and Middle of Muir

September, 2016 - June, 2017

At UC San Diego, I was privileged to serve as a College Center Assistant with John Muir College. Not only did I conduct expected duties such as managing the shop floor, taking drink orders, assisting customers with finding certain products, and
maintaining general upkeep and organization of the store, I also took the initiative to create and promote events to benefit all UC San Diego students. I developed monthly events and programs, such as Trivia Nights, Latte Art competitions, and Mental Health
Awareness events, each geared towards providing students with a space to relax, collaborate, and communicate. Additionally, I designed apparel, including hats and sweatshirts, as well as stickers for campus-wide distribution. I was part of a 3 person team that led Social Media Campaigns and created marketing materials to promote the College Center across campus.
