Biography
I joined Future First Global in 2012 to implement an alumni engagement pilot programme that was seeking to support public schools in the UK and In Kenya to engage their alumni effectively.
Over the past six years, I have played a key role in shaping alumni engagement conversations and alumni work in Kenyan High School Institutions of higher learning. In 2017, In partnership with the office of the Cabinet Secretary of Education, we launched the Association of Alumni Communities - a Citizen movement to mobilise Kenyans to give back to their former schools. Also, in 2018, Future First convened the First local Industry gathering of alumni professional from local Universities.
Before Joining Future First, I designed and implemented youth programs for ActionAid International, MS Denmark, the World Bank Institute, World Youth Alliance, Ashoka Youth Venture Program and British council's Global changemakers. I am Acumen Fellow, African Visionary Fellow and served on the boards of CIVICUS World Assemblies, a recipient of a Nelson Mandela- Graca Machel Innovation award.
