Biography

Shoshanna studied fine art photography at New York's Pratt Institute. Upon graduation, she returned home to photograph for Philadelphia City Paper and other newspapers. That inspired her to use a documentary approach for event photography, including weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, and business affairs. Shoshanna then crossed the Delaware to advocate for funding and increase patron participation with ArtPride New Jersey. Serving 300 arts organizations and 48,000 arts patrons, she connected arts professionals with resources to help carry out their missions. In 2019, Shoshanna joined the board of Photography Without Borders. A year later, she transitioned to her staff position as program director.
