Roxanna Booth Miller, Chief Advancement Officer
Roxanna joined Hartford Youth Scholars in January 2011, and was made Co-Director and Chief Development Officer in August of that year. She has over 30 years of experience in fund-raising, public relations, volunteer management, strategic planning and special event management. Roxanna worked at Trinity College for 10 years in several capacities within their Advancement division. After leaving Trinity in 2007 she worked with a variety of non-profits in the Hartford area including the Girl Scouts of Connecticut, Charter Oak Cultural Center, Leadership Greater Hartford and Achieve! Hartford. She is a founding member of the Women's Leadership Council of the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut and a school governance process coach for the Hartford Public Schools. She has served on the board of the Mandell Jewish Community Center of Greater Hartford and was chair of its book festival for 3 years. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Wheaton College.
