Tinna C. Nielsen is an anthropologist and a behavioural economist by heart and profession. She is the former Global Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Collaboration in Arla Foods (2010-15). Prior to this position she worked for the Danish Institute for Human Rights as a consultant in diversity and equality. For the past 15 years, her passion has been to make differences make a difference in as many domains as possible. For this purpose she founded the socio-economic organisation MOVE THE ELEPHANT FOR INCLUSIVENESS in 2013 and the global community www.inclusion-nugdes.org in 2015 (in collaboration w/Lisa Kepinski). From August 2015, Tinna will working full time with these organisaitons and with the World Economic Forum.
She has extensive experience with leadership development at all levels and functions, leveraging team potential to high-performance and innovation, as well as cultural, behavioural and systemic changes in organisations. In every aspect of organisational and people development, Tinna focuses on enabling individuals and organisations to be successful in the 21st century global world by envisioning the future, mitigating unconscious bias and designing Inclusion Nudges (techniques she has pioneered as an internal practitioner) for more inclusive processes, leadership and collaboration. She is continuously searching for innovative solutions, new learning opportunities and is happily sharing her knowledge and approach with others. She lives in Denmark with her family of five and has lived in various countries.
November 2015 Tinna was nominated as one of the Top 10 Diversity Consultants at The Global Diversity List by The Economist. In March 2015 Tinna was selected Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
In May 2014 Tinna became a Fellow at the RSA.
