To amplify the voices of young adults in the political process and expand economic opportunity for our generation.

What We Do

The work of Young Invincibles is centered on three program areas:

Millennial Health: Young Invincibles (YI) leads public health and coverage campaigns leveraging recent changes in the Affordable Care Act to maximize coverage for Millennials and advocate for additional coverage expansions. YI has educated thousands and reached millions through on-the-ground and online outreach with information on new coverage options; leads National Youth Enrollment Day each year to educate young adults on the importance of having health insurance, running hundreds of events across the country; and focuses on Virginia, Texas Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and California, which have the highest number of young adults in the health coverage gap.

Higher Education: Young Invincibles launched the Student Impact Project (SIP) in 2013 to empower student leaders and ensure that state-level post-secondary education policies are focused on the needs of low-income students. To date, we have mobilized over 20,000 students and borrowers around impacting core state higher education policy in state capitols across the country.

Economic Security: Young Invincibles is in the process of building out our economic security campaign. To date, our research team has provided data to identify the scale of the problem, our organizing team hears directly from young people about their challenges, and collectively we build campaigns to ensure that young people can access the financial security. We do this through research, agenda setting, impacting bills on the federal level and building mobile applications.
