Mission

We seek to establish the open Web as a global public good and a basic right, ensuring that everyone can access and use it freely.

What We Do

We defend and enhance the open Web, working in three main areas: affordable access for all, democratic participation online, and enhancing digital rights to build the Web We Want. Our founding director is Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web.
