Mission

Uplift Local brings media, artists and mutual-aid leaders together to inform, highlight and empower neighbors fairly, respectfully and honestly. Uplift Local includes:

1. A Community Resource Center that provides access to services, assistance and information
2. A free, inclusive news & information outlet ("The Local" newspaper) - both printed and online -- to promote civic engagement, cultural expression, and quality-of-life issues.
3. Room to grow for grassroots art, music, theater, and other creative projects
