To mentor, educate and enrich underserved youth through the creation of collaborative, original theatre.
What We Do
Through a variety of programs, in partnership with schools, detention centers and community agencies, we provide theatre arts education in underserved communities throughout Los Angeles to youth, including incarcerated youth, and families.
In theatre as in life, everyone has a role to play, and neither can be done well in solitude. By writing and performing original work as an ensemble, participants develop invaluable social and emotional life skills. With a common goal, working in tandem with community and family members of all ages, participants learn choice and consequence, and develop tools of empathy and self-confidence that help to heal their homes and communities, serving them long after they leave the stage.
