History of the Organization

The founder of Trusted World is Michael Garrett. Mr. Garrett brings his experience of 30 years in manufacturing serving as VP of operations, director of operations, plant manager, Q.A. manager, technical project manager, and business resumption coordinator. Mr. Garrett specializes in efficiencies and process control and is trained in Six Sigma, S.P.C, T.Q.M, and lean manufacturing. He saw a need in the non-profit sector and knew a way to make the process of delivery of goods simpler. By providing resources to the other non-profits at no cost, those agencies can focus on their client rather than scouting, collecting and sourcing the basic needs.

Michael continues to utilize his training and maintains Trusted World's focus on gathering essential resources such as clothing, food, and personal care items. Trusted World inspects each piece, sorts by size, gender and style before placing the item into an online inventory system for other nonprofits to order. Because of Trusted World, caseworkers, police officers, firefighters, nonprofits and school counselors can log-in from the comfort of their office and order exactly what their client needs and receives it within 48-72 hours of placing the order.
