Mission

TASSC's mission is to advocate against the practice of torture wherever it occurs and to provide holistic, practical, high quality, social, legal, and health services to survivors of torture. Our goals are to help survivors heal from the horrific effects of torture, rebuild their lives, achieve self-sufficiency, and address systemic concerns. TASSC is uniquely qualified to achieve these goals, as it is the only organization in the United States founded and led by survivors, for survivors.
