We are crafting alternative livelihoods to the agroindustry by reconnecting our 110 families to the living memory of our native seeds, customs, our traditional forms of social organization to innovate alternative forms of community economics. Tierras Milperas families waged the collective power of their assembly to transition towards community stewardship of our organization and are now working towards attaining communal farmland tenure and sustainability using our traditional farming practices in dialogue with California Native communities, native seed stewardship, and agroecology.

What We Do

Grow traditional varieties of foods, steward natives seeds and traditional farm practices of the global south by and for farmworker families.
