Mission

The Youth Connection is committed to providing high quality programs, advocacy and supportive services. We connect youth, young adults and their families in Metro Detroit to resources and opportunities that enrich their lives with special attention to those who are underserved.

What We Do

The Youth Connection, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, connects our youth to a brighter future through an array of programming designed to uplift our youth and their families. We offer The Youth Connection Career Academies, comprised of programs where youth can receive academic remediation, workplace skills and etiquette, job-readiness skills, paid internships, and certifications in career fields that are hiring! Our Health Program works with youth and their parents/caregivers to teach them about proper health, nutrition and exercise habits. We offer substance abuse prevention education for middle and high school youth and many more events and volunteer opportunities to engage our youth in the betterment of their communities.
