THE TOWN KITCHEN is a community-driven food company that delivers upscale, corporate lunch through a partnership with chefs and food artisans. We operate as a platform for innovative entrepreneurial training, education, and employment for low-income Oakland youth.

We believe that good food and good jobs build strong communities.

What We Do

THE TOWN KITCHEN seeks to accomplish the following:
-Empower low-income youth with training, decision-making, and
employment in the Bay Area food industry;
- Provide upscale lunch, curated by Bay Area chefs, delivered to corporate clients as a “community lunchbox”;
- Enhance City of Oakland by providing good paying jobs, on a path to
higher skills and wages, providing high quality, locally sourced food.
