Mission

The Montessori Science Program at UVa works to advance Montessori knowledge, understanding, and research globally, and equitable access to Montessori programming locally.

What We Do

Our mission is advanced via the following strategies:
Awareness raising efforts within local public school districts and surrounding communities.
Support of local independent schools in navigating sources of public funding.
Promotion & dissemination of Montessori-relevant research.
Advocacy for policy & legislation that is conducive to full implementation of publicly funded Montessori programming.
