What We Do

The Platform of Hope is a pilot initiative that provides holistic and self-directed support for cohorts of families of color experiencing economic vulnerability in the rapidly gentrifying Adams Morgan neighborhood of Northwest Washington, DC. Formed in 2018 by an alliance of non profits (Mary's Center, Jubilee Housing, Jubilee JumpStart and Sitar Arts Center) in response to the displacement of Black and brown families from Ward 1, POH seeks to model family-driven solutions and actively build community.
