Mission

The Guidance Center provides comprehensive mental health treatment to our community's most disadvantaged children and their families struggling with mental illness and abuse, leading them toward a positive and productive future. The Guidance Center envisions a community where all children have the help they need to be healthy and happy.

What We Do

We help troubled children who have nowhere else to turn - children who are victims of abuse and neglect, teens struggling with depression and substance abuse and families coping with community violence. The Guidance Center gives these children and families hope by providing much needed mental health treatment to help them feel and function better in their daily lives.
