What We Do
The Foundation Schools, 501(c)(3), is a collection of four nonpublic special education schools serving students with emotional disabilities and autism from throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Since 1975, The Foundation Schools has been providing innovative programs and support services that address the educational, social and mental health needs of children and adolescents with emotional disabilities and learning challenges. Our vision is that all students experience success. All of our teachers are certified in special education or their content area.
