Mission

The Beautiful Project confronts and dismantles the misrepresentation of Black women, girls, and gender expansive youth by creating spaces where we regard and experience ourselves as beautiful. Through storytelling and cultural arts, we create images of our past, present, and transformed futures to advance our collective wellness, representational justice, and liberation.
