Mission

The Arc of the Capital Area (The Arc) provides services for more than 1,000 clients and their families with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) offering services in: education, employment, independent living, transition and educational advocacy, and dog therapy.

What We Do

The Arc of the Capital Area provides comprehensive services to one of the most underserved populations. Texas is ranked 49th in the country for services for individuals with I/DD yet we have the 2nd highest population and Austin is the 4th fastest growing populations in the country. We provided wrap around services that include 5 case management programs, education program, employment services, pet therapy and a in-depth intake and referral program.
