Mission

Summer Harvest works to provide healthy foods to families with children on the free/reduced lunch program during summer and winter breaks through the distribution of food and education.
Our Vision is to eliminate food insecurity for school-aged children in communities where school districts do not qualify for government programs; Communities that have less than 50% of their students on the federal lunch assistance program.
The concept is to supplement the families' food budget with fruits and vegetables. Each distribution includes fruits and vegetables, eggs, and recipes along with regular grocery items, including items like cereal, rice, and pasta.
